The final presidential debate of this election cycle is taking place tonight in Las Vegas. It is putting what will undoubtedly be an ugly period on what have been some of the most contentious and uncivil debates since the invention of television. Mostly due to the presence of a certain stubby-fingered vulgarian. And in the spirit of the Vegas locale, you can place bets on exactly ugly this thing is going to get. Here are some of the odds currently being offered, courtesy of TMZ:

Who will be the first to interrupt the other … DT: -300; HC: +200

Will DT and HC shake hands before debate begins … Yes: -120; No: -120

Will DT and HC shake hands before debate begins … Yes: -120; No: -120How many times will DT say “tremendous” … Over 8.5: -110; Under 8.5: -130

How many times will DT say “tremendous” … Over 8.5: -110; Under 8.5: -130

How many times will Trump say “rig” or “rigged” … Over 4.5: +100; Under 4.5: -140

Will either candidate say “liar” … Yes: -210; No: +160

Will Trump say “drug test” … Yes: +325; No: -450

Will Clinton say “Billy Bush” … Yes: +400; No: -600

Will Trump say “Bill Clinton” … Yes: -565; No: +375

Will Trump say “Crooked Hillary” … Yes: +260; No: -380

Will Trump say “I was wrong” … Yes: +400; No: -600

If you aren’t familiar with sports betting, the negative sign implies that those are the odds of that thing happening. The plus sign means that the book makers are placing those odds on it not happening. As you can see, odds of Trump calling Hillary “crooked” to her face are pretty low, whereas the odds of one candidate calling the other a liar are pretty high.

My personal suggestion? Take the “no” line on the Will Trump Say “I was Wrong” bet. Odds are appropriately low since I don’t believe Trump has ever been caught saying those words in that order. So that ought to be a pretty safe bet.
